FAQ

We know how important your party celebration is and we want to be sure to get every detail just right.

This starts with a lovely chat on the phone or over email. There are a number of decisions to be made. Here are some of the questions we think you may have about the parties.

What do I need to decide before booking the party?

​

  1. The Party Date

  2. Party Venue. Your home or a village hall will be just perfect. We just need to make sure there are enough seated spaces (not too close together) around a table for all the guests.

  3. Theme or Painting subject matter. Would you like to choose one of the pictures on our website or do you have something else in mind?

How do I Make a Booking?

​

If you would like to go ahead and book, you can do so here. Alternatively, just give Kim a call on 07590210178 and we can book your party over the phone . You can also email us on paintingpartiesuk@gmail.com. To book your party date you will need to pay a 50% deposit. This is fully refundable up to a 30 days before the party.

Cancellations & Refunds​

​

  • Cancellations more than 1 month before the party – Full refund of deposit.

  • Between 2 weeks and 1 month before the party – 50% refund of deposit.

  • Less than 2 weeks before the party – No refund of deposit.

If you need to reschedule, we’ll do our best to accommodate your new date, subject to availability.

Which areas of the UK do you currently service?

​

​We have qualified and fully DBSed party teachers all over the UK and currently run parties in the following counties:

SURREY

WEST SUSSEX

NORTH YORKSHIRE

SHREWSBURY AREA

CHELTENHAM AREA

ELGIN (SCOTLAND)

What if I have extra children at the party?

​

Your party price includes 12 children/adults, however you are welcome to pay for additional persons on the day. 

​

 

What materials will we be using? 

​

Each person will work on their own canvas board - size A4. Stretched canvases can also be used but these will cost an extra £2 per canvas. We use high quality acrylic paints and fine art paint brushes. 

​

 

How will you ensure that the mess is contained?

 

This is a great question! First of all, we bring plastic and paper covers that ensure all surfaces are fully covered. We can also put floor coverings under the chairs. The party guests will also be supplied with aprons however we do recommend that they wear clothes that they don't mind getting a little paint on.

​

 

Will everyone go home with dry paintings?

 

Yes, they will! The paintings will dry fairly quickly and if they are still wet, we have a special dryer to dry them quickly.

​

 

How early do you come to set up?

 

We will be there at least 30 minutes before the party starts. This is all we need to set everything up. 

​

 

How long will the artwork take?

​

Most people will finish in the allotted time. The majority of the painting should be finished in the first hour. During children's parties we'll take a break for party food (provided by you) and finish off the painting after this.
